I love vests and this is exactly what I was looking for. It has a good amount of fill to it so you get that fluffy, puffer feeling. By design, I think it is oversized. I originally ordered a large but it was pretty big on me so I ordered the Medium and think it is a better fit. I have included pictures of both sizes. I am a size 12, apple body type, 5’6”.
Best has a good weight to it, love the double zipper, feels like a sturdy zip that will last. Seems like it will be plenty warm but it hasn’t gotten too cold yet so I will report back but based on the feel I’m sure I will be cozy. -
The side slits and vest style make it feel different from a regular coat. I ordered XL in black, fits true to size with room for a sweater. Pockets are roomy, hood is warm, and it fluffed up fine after unpacking. Can’t wait to wear it when it gets colder.

I usually don’t wear vests but decided to try this one and I’m glad I did. I ordered a large (5’5” / 155 lbs) and it fits great. The hood isn’t detachable, it has two deep pockets, zipper and snaps, and side openings with snaps. It came vacuum sealed but fluffed up nicely after a quick tumble in the dryer.
